Common questions

Where are my files?

Sorted only accesses folders you explicitly select. Watched source folders remain untouched while files are copied into the Sorted library you choose.

Why is an answer uncertain?

Answers are grounded in the content that has been indexed locally. Open the citation to verify the source document and page, or add the missing file and let indexing finish.

How do I reset the library?

Open Settings, choose the library controls, and remove the selected library before choosing a new folder. This does not delete your original source files.

When you contact us

Please include the action that failed, whether it happened during indexing or Ask Sorted, and any visible error text. Do not send private documents unless support specifically requests a redacted sample.
